The Right Reverend Juan Alberto Morales, OSB – Ninth Bishop of Quincy.
Bishop Morales was enthroned at St. Andrew the Apostle, Peoria, IL on September 18, 2010 by The Most Rev. Robert Duncan, Archbishop, Anglican Church in North America. Bishop Morales is the Abbot Emeritus of St. Benedict’s Abbey and continues his monastic vocation.

Father J. Payton Wieland – Vicar
Fr. Payton is a cradle Anglican, having been baptized and confirmed in St. George’s Episcopal Church in Belleville. He holds a Master of Arts in Religion, with an emphasis in Christian History and Theology, from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. Prior to seminary, Payton also completed the four-year lay ministry program, Education for Ministry, offered through the University of the South (Sewanee). Payton holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, as well as a MS in Engineering Management from the same institution. He was ordained to the diaconate in 2013, and to the priesthood in 2014, by Bishop Morales.
Father David Byer
Father Byer is co-pastor of Christ Anglican Church. He is very active in reaching out and ministering to the elderly and homeless community and serves as a volunteer Chaplain at hospitals in Belleville and Shiloh IL. Fr. David was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests in 2015 in the Anglican Diocese of Quincy. He is completing a Master of Theology Degree at Andrews Hall Anglican Seminary, has a B.S. Degree in Biology from Indiana State University and four years of Education for Ministry education from University of the South. Fr. David and his wife Debbie were married in 1979. Their three adult children are married and they have three grandchildren. Fr. David enjoys gardening, fishing, shooting, and music.
